Average domestic water consumption = 157 litres per day.

The average household water bill has increased 39.1% since 1989.

The roof of an average 4-bedroom family home can harvest more than 100,000 litres of rainwater each year.

A typical family uses 70,000 litres of water each year on flushing the toilet, washing clothes and outside use (watering the garden or washing the car).

1/3 of all water used gets flushed down the toilet.

Rainwater harvesting can reduce your domestic mains water consumption by up to 50%

Collecting rainwater from your roof can also reduce surface water by approximately 60% per housing plot.
